U.S. Citizen Services

Registration with the U.S. and Uzbek Governments

REGISTRATION WITH THE U.S. GOVERNMENT

U.S. citizens around the world who travel or reside abroad are encouraged to register their travel online. A secure online travel registration website allows American citizens to record foreign trip and residence information that the Department of State can use to communicate with them and assist them in case of an emergency. The site is accessible either through a link on TRAVEL.STATE.GOV or directly at https://travelregistration.state.gov/. This Internet travel registration service allows U.S. citizens to register and update their contact information on the Internet at any time, making it easier for them to keep their information current. The site also provides the citizens with up-to-date travel information customized to their unique travel agenda and itinerary. The data the citizens provide is secured behind Department of State firewalls, accessed only by cleared personnel in Embassies, Consulates, and the Department of State, and releasable only under the provisions of the Privacy Act.

If you have any questions regarding registration with the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan, please contact the Consular Section.
