Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake Visits Uzbekistan (10/11/2009)
Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake arrived in Uzbekistan October 11th, 2009. This is Assistant Secretary Blake’s first visit to Uzbekistan since taking up his position. He will meet with high level officials of the Government of Uzbekistan to discuss a range of issues of mutual interest in the political, security, economic, and human dimensions. He will also meet with representatives from the private sector and civil society.
