USCENTCOM Commander, General David Petraeus, met with President Islam Karimov on April 6, 2010

General David Petraeus, Commander, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), visited Tashkent, Uzbekistan on April 5-6, 2010. As the USCENTCOM Commander, General Petraeus routinely visits the countries in his area of responsibility to better understand these nations' various perspectives. In Tashkent, General Petraeus met with President Karimov to discuss areas of mutual interest.
