Owner of the Elvis Presley Art Cafe Karen Gafurdjanov accepts posters from Carol Fajardo
Embassy donates collection of Elvis posters to the Elvis Presley Art Café in Tashkent (01/10/2008)
On January 10 the owner of the Elvis Presley Art Café in Tashkent and Uzbek pop singer, Karen Gafurdjanov, accepted a collection of Elvis posters from the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Officer Carol Fajardo.
Soon the donated pictures of the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” will liven up this Elvis-lovers’ cafe, which also features many artifacts of the golden age of rock and roll and a room dedicated to the Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine.” Had he lived, Elvis Presley would have turned 73 years old on January 8, 2008.
